Treadmills and ellipticals are the standard equipment for cardio exercises. Did you know there are many other workouts you could do on a treadmill and elliptical other than just mindlessly running in place to stay in shape?
Treadmills allow you to walk, jog, or run endlessly in one place, so why not rethink this idea of endless track in a gym space to your advantage? Gyms never have enough floor space and are filled with obstacles you have to work around, but a treadmill has endless distance and is obstacle free. There is an endless amount of ways you could use a treadmill; for example, you could use it to stretch, work your core, and for strength training.
Ellipticals are used to simulate stair climbing, walking, or running without causing excessive pressure to the joints. Running can get boring—fast—so why not try and switch up your workout with something new? You can use an elliptical for more than just cardio. You can use it to work out your arms, core, and legs!
